Ethics matter

As photographers, we understand the concerns around generative tools. That's why The Portrait Lab was built differently. Every image in our training dataset comes from Sam Hurd's own body of work... real photographs, real sessions, real creative vision. No scraped images. No stolen styles. Use it knowing exactly where it came from. Learn more →

Generative AI in photography is a complicated topic. Sam believes there's a way forward where these tools help photographers rather than exploit them.
